Nike Free 5.0 TR Fit 4′ Print Training Shoe Review

I haven’t purchased a tennis shoe in what seems like forever. I went to Nordstrom.com and splurged. I purchased the Nike Free 5.0 Fit 4 training shoes. They cost $105. I was drawn to the neon accents of the tongue and shoestrings. Overall, I wanted a shoe that was mostly black but had a pop of color. These definitely fit the bill.

I purchased them at full price and then received a 20% price adjustment a week later when Nordstrom had their annual sale. Thank goodness for their price adjustments! They seem to be selling out very quickly on Nordstrom, so I’m glad I got them when I did!

I love the shoes! I needed a not-so-plain black pair to match all my crazy leggings. And also because my other tennies are fluorescent yellow and coral Nike Free Runs. The volt yellow tongue and laces are more subtle than I anticipated. I love how slim silhouette. The shoe is basic enough with the right amount of details to make them stand out. The shoes also came in other bright colors and interesting patterns.

The fit is snug and the shoe appears to fit the form of the foot very well. They are also very lightweight. The sole is comfortable but I am going to switch it out with my orthopedic foot molds from Road Runner.

I definitely made the right decision with these shoes. I am considering getting a second pair, but you never know what Nike is going to come up with next.

Here’s a photo of me in my Nikes on this gorgeous sunny day! (I took this photo upside down because I am still looking for a personal papparazzi).
