My boyfriend and I are subscribers to Cabo Taco’s awesome craft beer events e-mail blasts. We make an attempt to attend as many Thursday beer dinners (food and beer pairing events) as we can. Cabo Taco has their regular Mexican food menu, but they also host beer school, which usually occurs on a Friday as well as other specialty craft beer events. The events are usually hosted by the talented Chef Kenny and Bill the beer connoisseur.
We were ECSTATIC when we received an e-mail to sign up for their QUARTERLY brewery tour! The tour would be showcasing some awesome Orange County breweries! The cost was $35, all of which included a burrito breakfast con pan dulce, posh bus transportation to all the different OC breweries, as well as a burrito lunch! The event started at 9:30 AM and ended promptly around 4:30 PM back at Cabo Taco. All participants were invited to bring canned beer onto the bus. Snacks were also provided for all those who attended. Overall the event was well organized and everyone had a great time!
The breweries for our itinerary were:
Noble Ale Works
Here is the beer list. All the breweries offered samplers but guests could also order half pints, pints and growlers of their brews.
Hot friend Tera and I with Bill & Kenny of Cabo Taco!
Brewery tour participants mobbing The Bruery.
A handsome couple!
The Jenga champions of Bootlegger’s brewery. That is a nice tower guys!
A sneak peek of the Noble brewery’s vats!
I am keeping my eye out for the next brewery tour e-mail. Supposedly Smog City Brewery is next on the list! You know I’ll definitely be there!
