This is a review for the new Manduka Apparel line!
At first I was skeptical because I was thinking how could Manduka create a clothing line when they specialize in mats and mat accessories. They should just stick to one thing! But I bit the bullet when I saw the following apparel products. I just could NOT resist! I wanted some pieces for Summer and their collection landed perfectly in my path.
I bought the following items to try (the exact outfit pictured below):
What I LOVE:
- The fabric! It’s made from a poly spandex blend but the material is SO SOFT! It feels like cotton. The fabric has 4 way stretch and tends to stretch a little post-practice, but not enough to worry about. I bought the bra and pants in a size small. I usually wear a size medium in tops/bras. I would suggest sizing down.
- The design is very feminine. The pastel and light grey colors are great for Spring and Summer. The Flux leggings have a contoured waist with a classic rise. There are also ties that wrap around your calves at the hem adding a ballerina flare to your outfit. I love the Manduka Wrap Bralette‘s high neck and crossover styling. It fully covers my frontal side and is oddly flattering. The bralette was purposely built without an interior bra and double layered fabric – which I do not mind because I do not have a busty chest. I could wear this outfit for a vinyasa or yin class. I could also wear it lounging around the house or running errands.
- Double layer gusset.
- The fit is incredible! The designs stay put. I love being able to flow through a vinyasa class freely and not worry about my outfit malfunctioning.
Definitely give the Manduka Apparel line a try! So far I have found that I could wear their line on a daily basis – based on comfortability and appearance. Some of the leggings I have are way too loud on a day that I want some damn peace and quiet. Let me know if you’ve tried any of their products in the comments!
