COUPON CODE & My Inner Fire Leggings Review

Looking for the Inner Fire coupon code? It’s at the bottom of this post!

I’ve been intrigued with Inner Fire for quite some time. The prints are colorful and unique. The printed shirts are humorous and inspiring. And all theidir pants are made form recycled bottles! How cool and eco-friendly is that?! The brand was started by Leah Emmott, yoga teacher and artist. Her story is inspiring. Check it out here.

Luckily, I received the Lotus Crop and Summit Leggings (long length) to review. The pants are made in Vancouver BC and are responsibly manufactured. I ordered a size Small based on their comparison with Lululemon. I wear a size 6 in Lululemon.

Can I just start with how much I love My Inner Fire bottoms?! The fabric is soft and has the perfect balance of stretch and compression. They feel comfortable and I get tons of compliments when I wear them around town. They can be worn for fitness or for bustling around town.

#1 Size: Inner Fire sizes are comparable to lululemon. I wear a size 6 lululemon and the small fit perfectly. I would consider the pants true to size (TTS).

#2 Style:  Inner fire offers shorts, capris and long pants. They also offer screen printed tanks, tees and sweaters. For this review, I chose the long legging pants.

#3 Inseam:  The inseam for long length pants are 27″ and crops are 20″. My normal inseam is 26″ and experience some bunching around the ankles.

#4 Rise: Leggings are Mid-Rise and sits just below the navel.

#5 Waistband: The tall waistband covers my muffin top and is comfortable. It has a compressive fit and keeps the pants in place.

#6 Fabric:

  • The fabric is premium quality and made primarily from recycled plastic bottles.
  • Fabric has an anti-microbial Chitosante treatment that prevents your clothing from stinking.
  • They use a specialized printing process which means no inks are wasted and colors will not fade.
  • The fabric is white backed and definitely opaque!
  • The fabric on my Lotus crops were initially stiff to the touch. After 2 washes and wears, the fabric stretched a bit and resulted in a more comfortable fit.

#7 When to Wear: The leggings are deal for use in a wide range of activities from yoga and pilates to crossfit and running.

#8 Cost: Inner Fire sells their products online, on and at various festivals and trade shows. Leggings are $74 and crops are $69 USD online. The costs are usually in CAD, so it translates to an affordable deal for US customers! Use my discount code ALEXTRAN for 15% off your orders on Amazon and use SYNews15 on Inner Fire. You’ll often find the crew at Wanderlust festivals and other yoga conferences. Come say “Hi!” Leah and the team are very friendly!

#9 Gusset: Inner Fire has a triangle gusset.

#10 Stitch Seam – Flat seams are used throughout all styles of bottoms. Their tops (sweater, tanks and tees) are made with plain seam stitching.

#11 UPF Protection: SPF 50

#12 Care Instructions: Hand or machine wash in cold water, then hang or lay flat to dry.

My Inner Fire also has fun tops for men and women. When I first browsed the tee gallery, a few of the tops made me literally LOL. Some of my favorite tanks read: “I’m just here for the Savansana,” “Shake your asana,” and “Asteya true to myself.” The tanks and tops are made with American Apparel’s butter soft cotton fabric and fit TTS.

Also, My Inner Fire’s values are definitely concepts I can jive with.

  • Respect for the planet
  • Nurturing of global community
  • Helping one find their inner passion
  • Promoting peace through positivity, laughter and mindfulness
