Best Swimsuit Brands
Reading Time: 5 minutes

With the sun is still shining fiercely in Seattle, I decided to share my list of FAVORITE swimwear brands and where to buy them. I went through all my swimsuits (trust me I have A TON) and picked the brands that I go for most. Below is a list of my tried and tested brands to keep you fashionable AND comfortable this Summer. Check out my list of best swimsuit brands.

**For reference I am a size 34B in bra sizing and wear a size 8 in lululemon bras. In bottoms I am a size 6 in lululemon.**

Here are my picks for the Best Swimsuit Brands

#1 Maaji

maaji swimwear bikini swimsuit review

Maaji hails from Columbia. I love their mix and match quilt-like silhouettes. The patterns are whimsical and sure to draw attention. They also make solid-to-reversible suits. Wear matching sets, or mix your tops and bottoms for endless combinations.

They also make women’s activewear, mens swim trunks and kids swimwear.

We recommend sizing up from your usual size. A size medium would best fit a womens size 6-8.

#2 Beach Bunny

Beach Bunny is a luxe swimwear brand based out of Orange County, California. Expect to pay around $200+ per suit. Some vintage suits (new or pre-owned) will sell on the secondary market for exorbitant prices.

You’ll see a lot of their suits in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Miami. I love their Siren (sequin) and Lady Lace suits. The bottoms run small, but the tops mostly run true to size (TTS). If you’re a beauty on a budget, Chic Grace sells an awesome sequin bikini dupe for only $11!

Beach Riot makes super cute swimwear. We love their Eva top and Emmy bottom combo in colorblock. The color combo reminds me of Google’s colorscheme!

#4 Luli Fama

luli fama swimwear bikini review

Luli Fama is based out of Miami, Florida. They considered a luxe brand swimwear. I love their fringe and strappy designs. Their prints have been by far the most interesting. I have a leopard bikini that lights up under blacklight, making it perfect for a night time pool party. You’ll see a lot of their suits in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Miami. Their fabric is comfortable but does tend to snag a little when worn. I would definitely wash these by hand and hang dry. Luli Fama runs true to size.

#5 Vitamin A

Vitamin A makes gorgeous silky swimwear. They also use Econyl, a sustainable swimwear material that is super soft and eco-friendly.

#6 L*Space

l*space swimwear bikini review

L*Space was created by Monica Wise and offers some amazing silhouettes! They’re based out of Orange County, California. SoCal sure knows how to outfit the beach babe. I acquired a fringe Starburst one-piece 5 years ago and still wear it to this day. The sizing does run small so I would definitely size-up. I wear a medium top and bottom in this particular brand.

#7 Solid and Striped

solid and striped bikini one piece swimwear review

Solid and Striped offers minimalistic and modern silhouettes. Solid & Striped offers chic swimwear from bikinis to one-piece that are suited for any setting – wear them poolside or take it on your Mediterranean vacation. Created with the desire to create effortless essentials for all your leisurely pursuits, Solid & Striped is perfect for when you want to relax. Sizing is tricky in this brand. I have been able to fit into both a Small and Medium. I would go with whichever you feel more comfortable with in terms of compression. If you are between a size 4 and 6, definitely go for a size Small.

#8 Seafolly

seafolly swimwear bikini one piece review

Seafolly is a swimwear brand from Australia. The quality is top notch! If you need additional support for the gals, Seafolly offers a variety of wire to wireless support. They also offer petite to large sizes, making their suits suit-able for women of many sizes. Make sure to take note of their Australian sizing. I wear a 10 in AU sizing which translates to a 6 in US sizing. I would say they run TTS.

#9 Marysia

marysia swimwear bikini maillot one piece review

Marysia Swim offers timeless silhouettes with a classy scalloped detail. The pieces are not lined and I would not recommend them for big busted gals. Their pieces do not offer support in the chest area if you’re larger than a B or small C cup.

I would order these in your regular size as I’ve found they run true to size (TTS). They also stretch a bit when submerged in water.
