I am obsessed with wearing dresses when I travel. I especially love when the dress is flowy! It makes photos appear dreamy.

Brands that I wore on my most recent trip to Arizona were Silk and Salt, Outerknown, and Tamga Designs.

#2 Tank Tops and Short Sleeve Tops

Tank tops and short-sleeved tops are great for combatting Arizona’s heat between the months of May and September.

We like to bring a variety of prints and patterns. We always opt for lightweight fabrics that are great for travel and keeping cool.

#3 Shorts

Shorts are great for the hot summer heat in Arizona! We typically pack one pair of fancy shorts and one pair of casual shorts.

Lightweight shorts are also great for traveling because they take up little room and keep your luggage light.

We love denim shorts by REVICE and Hudson

#4 Skirts

Farm Rio Toucan Mini Skirt

We love a good skirt! A maxi skirt is great for protecting you from sun damage and a mini skirt is great for keeping cool and going out and exploring the nightlife in Arizona.

We love skirts from Farm Rio, which come in many patterns and silhouettes so that you can easily mix and match tops with the skirts.

#5 Leggings

You’ll definitely want to bring leggings if you’re planning outdoor activities. We love leggings made by lululemon and CRZ Yoga.

#6 Jeans

Everlane Cheeky Denim Jeans

Jeans are great for wearing in colder months. We typically wear jeans with booties and a light jacket.

We love jeans by FRAME, REVICE, and Everlane.

#7 Lightweight Sweater or jacket

Another Mile Jacket

A lightweight sweater or jacket is great for when the weather gets chilly. We brought our Another Mile Jacket by lululemon and funnel sweater by Nagnata.

We found that we did not need a thick parka jacket even during the coldest months in Arizona (November-January). So leave those at home!

We love getting wet when it’s hot! We always bring a swimsuit with us when traveling. I usually pack 1-2 pairs in case there is a wardrobe malfunction.

Our favorite brands include Berry Beachy and Solid and Striped.

#9 Hats

Cyclone Cowboy Hat

For destinations that have a lot of outdoor attractions, I love wearing western or fedora style hats. Sometimes a baseball cap will be sufficient as well.

I brought my American Hat Makers Cyclone Cowboy Hat and it pretty much went with everything; the outfits and the Wild West scenery. The wide brim also protects my face from sun exposure.

A crossbody handbag is great for traveling around Arizona. It allows me to keep all my belongings including my DSLR camera.

We love crossbody bags by The Sak and lululemon.

#11 Travel Friendly Jewelry

And finally, our outfits would not be complete without jewelry. We love wearing jewelry that is travel friendly and lightweight.

Victoria Emerson makes awesome stacked Boho Cuff bracelets that are connected by a magnet closure. This prevents the jewelry from tangling in our luggage and instantly enhances all our outfits.

We also recommend using a pillbox to organize your jewelry so that it does not get lost or tangled in your luggage.
